Last night, you were standing on the beach—listening to the waves, staring at the stars and simply taking in the stillness of the night.  In that moment, there was no one watching; no one you felt the need to impress. There you stood—alone with God—with nothing to offer but the rawness of your humanity and the whole of your heart. As insignificant as it was to you, it was enough for Him. There, in the beauty of the Australian wilderness, that’s when you finally “got it”—the Creator of the universe is passionate about you.

People receive some of the most powerful revelations of their lives surrounded by the beauty of nature—one of the many reasons YWAM Brisbane started the Beach to Bush Discipleship Training School (B2B DTS). B2B is a unique way for you to embark on a passionate journey of growth with God—all while traveling and camping in the Australian outback.

Unlike other DTSes—which are centered primarily in a classroom on a YWAM base—B2B takes you “on the road” for the majority of the course. From the outback to the ocean, you will experience Australia for four months alongside a dynamic community of students from across the globe.

Alongside of this will be the incredible opportunity to spend two months overseas on a short-term missions trip, totally immersed in another culture.

B2B is a one of a kind adventure of discovery—discovering who God is and who he has created you to be. During these six months, you will be challenged both physically and spiritually to do things and go places you never had the courage to before. As you expand your horizons and take on these exciting new challenges, genuine and committed staff will be there to walk alongside you in the discipleship process.
