THE INITIATIVE FILM COMPANY The Initiative is a film production company pioneered out of Youth With a Mission Brisbane and the School of Digital Filmmaking (SDF). The company was established in June 2008 by Jason Solari. The focus of the Initiative is on making “Every Frame Count” by producing short films with a message that matters. “Our aim is content,” says Solari, “taking material that matters and putting it into scripts and onto screen." The Initiative's first film as a company was awarded in the top ten of the 48 Hour Film Festival here in Brisbane, Australia. They are dedicated to making films of excellence and giving God all the glory. The team is made up of graduates from the School of Digital Filmaking.
